I Notice a Nest and Green Room

Two new poems in Turtle Island Quarterly (14.4 Spring/Summer 2018). You'll have to scroll--mine are on the bottom of the chapter. "I Notice a Nest" came straight out of my woods walk. "Green Room" was inspired on a vacation in Hawaii when I woke early and noticed surfers in the dark getting ready for sunset. Enjoy!

Ezekiel Remembers the Sky

Visit one of the best science fiction poetry web sites, Silver Blade, to read (or listen to me read) my poem "Ezekiel Remembers the Sky." The illustration is too perfect to miss.

Finally made it into Star*Line!

My debut in the Science Fiction Poetry Association's magazine Star*Line is in the Winter 2018 issue (41.1) with two poems: "Green Men Don't Talk" (loosely based on Green Man mythology and the legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight) and "Shovel" (a nice dark poem about a shovel come to life . . .that wants to kill!).

MRI

This poem is titled after a procedure I had: MRI. I expected it to be hard psychologically since I'm claustrophobic, but I didn't realize how hard it was physically. An MRI is a really loud procedure that makes you feel like you're being run through a buzz saw. Songs of Eretz is an online magazine run by a doctor. Photos illustrate each poem.
